Eve Hillary is an expert in complementary
medicine. Since 1996, her second career has been as a free-lance journalist, author and publisher.
Eve’s first book, Children of a Toxic Harvest,
traced the healing journey of her chemically injured son. The book became a best seller in 1999 when it
captured reader’s hearts and changed consumer choices to less toxic
options.
Since then, Eve has devoted her authorship to transforming true stories,
of social and historical significance, into fast-paced page-turners.
Her latest book, Sarah’s last Wish, is the haunting and unforgettable
story of a teen-aged girl, wise beyond her years, who was forced by an inflexible health system, into a
tragically unsuccessful treatment for her rare cancer. In 2011, the book became a best
seller, and apart from continuing to enchant readers, it has inspired improvements to the health
system.
When Eve is not on lecture tours, running her clinic, or guest
commentating in the media, she is a strong advocate for human rights.
Eve has a Bachelor of
Health Science degree in Complementary Medicine and a Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Linguistics.
Eve’s is one of the few
boutique publishing houses to render socially significant true stories into high quality literary
non-fiction.
Eve lives and works in
Sydney, Australia. She spends her free time with her family and in the happy company of her loyal service dog,
Suzi.
